Ok so my future 3G TL (my moms car) has always had this problem with the seat memory. For example I use driver 2 keys when i drive the car and everytime i get in and hit the button if it doesnt automatically do it from the remote nothing seems to be remembered for driver 1 or 2. Has anyone else had this problem or can make suggestions?

 

You don't mention which year the 3G is but there was a TSB back in 2004 (04-005) that was issued for faulty memory control units. Basically there were times when after having set the mirrors, seats, etc in the memory - it wouldn't remember. I had mine replaced under warranty and haven't had a problem since.

 

The remotes only retain settings if they are linked to the TL. Have you made sure that the remotes are linked? Instructions are on the back of each remote, in the manual and probably in the stickied 3G Garage.
