So I went ahead and as instructed seafoamed after approximately 2000 miles from the original seafoam. Low and behold, the engine light came on: flashed a couple of times and then stayed on. But here's the thing, after driving a bit, it went away. ANything I should be concerned about? I'll have to check again tomorrow morning to see if it's back on...boy I hope I didn't break anything?!!! Could just be the engine's reaction to a foreign substance???

You're fine, don't even worry about it.

Very normal with the Seafoam treatment; I would just reset the ECU and be on your way.

 

Dont reset the ECU- let exhaust heat remove the goo from the O2 sensor!!
Chances are you didnt do a hot foot drive afterwards or something lke that
Its crucial, otherwise you get mystery CEL

 

that should clear itself in a day or 2 driving

i went ahead and put half the can into the gas tank too as instructed initially...was i supposed to do that the second time around? too late? lol

 

you can do a 16 oz can in 1/2 tank of gas anytime you want- thats cleaning dose of 2 oz per gallon of gas
Every 5,000 miles or so- throw a can in a full tank- 1 oz per gal for a maitenance cleaning
