Scary Situation-'07 TL Type S Died...while driving

Never had any issues with electrical until now... was pulling out of the parking lot at work and within 15-20 seconds while driving the A/C cut out about half way, 5 seconds after the Nav dimmed and went out and all the lights began to flash in the dash...I was able to glide into a parking lot and park before it went completely dead. I tried to crank it back up and a couple of the dash lights turned on, but no crank, now it wont even turn on any lights and the power locks are not working as well..basically its a dead fish in the water.

I don't really know what to look for, I called Acura in Cary, NC.. they said to try to jumpstart the TL which I am about to do, but I feel like this is more than just a dead battery. I've had those before and never heard of a car dying while driving with a low battery.

I replaced the battery about 12 months ago.

Please help! thanks...

a dead alternator would do this.
can you see about getting the battery replaced if its underwarranty and test the alternator

Weird how my type s did this today (https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-problems-fixes-114/tl-restarted-while-driving-913552/)

However it restarted while I was driving and also started at lunch time. Do your terminals look clean ?

OK

I agree with alt issue but there are things you need to check

1 load test car
2. check ignition switch, while they are not known to go bad on these cars, it is always a possibility.
3 Electrical Load Detector may be bad

Mine does the same thing. Only my electronics cut off, though. Just for a split second and all of them come back on.
