Saft assembly and CV joints
Hi All,
When I drive @ speeds 50-70 range my steering wheel shakes and also I feel it in the paddle too. Also when I slow down to stop I hear this some weird noise not from rubbing but kind of rubber or plastic not happy noise.
My mechanic said most prob. it can be saft assembly or CV joints. Could someone please point me a place where I could purchase those so I could do a proper research ahead if it is needed to be replaced....
Thanks in advance.

Hello... Good AM!
Shaking at higher speeds sounds like tires that are not properly balanced. Did you recently get new tires?
Also, is there clicking when you are turning through a parking lot? If yes, then most likely its your CV axle. Check both turning left and right if you hear any clicking while at a low speed.
PS - It's "shaft" assembly, not saft.

Hello... Good AM!
And rubber/plastic not happy noise (LOL)... You mean like the sound of someone reaching into a potatoe chip bag but with a rubber squeek hue to it?
