Rotora BBK squeeks after rain

It only does it after it rains and the rotors surface gets a lil rust build up. Its really loud and kinda embarrasing. After I make one or two hard(er) stops to knock the rust film off, it doesnt do it as bad...if at all

Anyone else encounter this? any tips or suggestions? Does it go away after the brakes are a little older? I probably only have about 500 miles on them. I can live with it, but for a $1800 kit, its kinda annoying.

i believe a lot of brakes are like this. oem brakes squeak VERY slightly after you wash it. however most aftermarket brakes i've encountered will squeak quite a bit until the rust come off.

Did you get the H2 or the H6 pads with the kit? The H6 will squeal unless you drive it hard all the time. The H2s mine came with made no noises under any circumstances except for the normal "airplane" noise when stopping hard from higher speeds.

I think I may have found the answer in your thread https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...=789792&page=2.

I'm betting it has to do with the transfer layer. I only drive my car hard on occasion, and I'm betting when I'm not driving it hard, that layer is wearing off. Ill re-bed them today and see if squeeking subsides. Thanks for your help.
