Replaced the front rotors on my 04 TL (6MT) with Centric 125 High Carbon Cryo treated rotors, and Brembo ceramic pads. Noticed after a few thousand miles that the rotors have a glossy brown appearance to them, when typically rotors on my other cars are silver. Attached is a photo, does this look normal or is something awry?

Looks like mine so I guess its normal. I noticed that if it rains and you dont drive it the rotors will develop a thin layer of rust, but that will wear off when you drive it.

 

Normal, nothing to worry about. Probably just a product of the pad/rotor combination.

 

Its in the begining stage, later on its gonna be silver.
