which roof spoiler did you get? im assuming the ebay one from swoosh's post? there is double side tape placed on the roof spoiler and they give you this little tube of glue, spread the glue around the areas where this isnt tape and that will also help for the adhesive. i didnt use the glue and bought epoxy instead. dont want mine flying off at 100mph..

I drank mine.

But really you need to clean the back mounting surface of the window with Isopropyl Alcohol. Putting the double sided tape on glass without being properly cleaned it will eventually come loose.

So the glue is an extra safety precaution?

yes, it's an extra precaution against it flying off at higher speeds and as well helps guard against theft. If you don't have any, I suggest you do invest in it for piece of mind. 10 dollars for glue or loosing 200 dollars for a spoiler + any damage it'll cause when it flies off?
