Rockblocker install questions

I was reading the instructions on the installation of the rockblocker light protection kit I got and I have a question. On the intructions it states on installing to use a 50/50 mixture of water and alcohol, but it stops at that. It only states this in the paper instructions not online instructions. I thought that you didn't use any mixes like this with Rockblocker's. Has anyone installed these using the 50/50 mixture? Any tips would be appreciated! I'm looking at installing these badboys tonight or tomorrow.

the instructions are messed up. u can improvise with the mixture. dont use that hard card that it came with unless u cover it because it will scratch up the film. be prepared to use a sharp razor all around because the entire kit is too big. take the rear side markers off. dont cut the inner tab on the front s/m because it'll be too short . i did the sides dry & used a blow drier to form around the edges & raised letters ( do the sides 1st for warm up)
be careful with the bigger lights and get them right the 1st time because it will stick pretty well. start carefully & keep it consistant. peel off as u go. it wont look perfect right away, it needs to settle. mine came out perfect but there is a slightly warped finish when i look very closely. there are some hardly noticeable streaks because it was rolled up during shipping & maybe storage. they still came out looking professional

Its not that hard, just take your time. I used soapy water, I just kept it wet the whole time. But hes right you need a very sharp razor.

Thanks guys, I put them one last week and they look good......except for the side markers. They could be better. I just can't wait till the Honda R&D get done with the smoked side markers!
