Retapped oil drain has a SLOW leak

So I recently discovered that my recently purchased TL has a retapped oil pan.
Discovered it over the weekend when I tried to swap the oil.

Looks like it was retapped with a 18mm bolt.

Since it has a slow seeping leak going, I'm thinking that continued screwing and unscrewing of this bolt would not be a great idea.

I am considering putting the fumoto drain valve on it.

What can I use to help seal the fumoto when it goes on, that isn't permanent?

Are you lowered? I've heard it isn't a good idea for lowered people due to clearance.

I'll probably get flamed for this, but honestly, have you thought about just permanently sealing the 18MM you already have and picking up a mityvac liquid extractor. I used it to suck my oil out of the dipstick hole and it got it almost all out (it would have gotten it all if I had been on a level surface and not my driveway).

Just another solution to the problem potentially...
ANOTHER idea I just had...did they use a crush washer!??! IF NOT, adding one might stop your leak and you'll be ok.

I'm only lowered by .75 all around on a Eibach prokit.
From the looks of it, that Fumoto doesn't angle down, so it looks safe for the most part.

I probably would not opt for the vac option since I would still need to jack the car to get to the filter.

Not sure if there is a crush washer, but since it has been retapped, I'm weary about screwing and unscrewing it for changes, especially since there is seeping wetness around it.

Get one of those washers that have rubber molded inside it from auto zone or Oriellys, they work very good.

I'd just get a new oil pan.
98 dollars or something like that from acura.

^^^or do that.
Yes, you'd have to jack up to get to the oil filter, but the jacking up the car isn't your concern. Don't overcomplicate this.

You're welcome.
