Replacing torn rear caliper pin boot

Hey all,

I have a torn rear caliper pin boot, I'm looking at the diagram and it's just a rubber boot with no mounting brackets or anything. Do I simply pull out the old one and push the new one in?

I tried pulling it but it didn't seem to want to move. Wanted to confirm that the boot is simply pull out and insert new one. Thanks

I just completed my rear caliper pins A. And pin B, replaced all rear caliper pin rubber boots.
Car is smooth again,

Pull the pins out. Seperate them from the rubber boots.
Spray brake cleaner inside, Use Q tips to clean all the old lube. Keep cleaning. And spraying and let air dry.

Remember which pins go - top and bottom. They are different.

Then remover the rubber boot, pry it- twist it. It will come off. Clean off the lip where that came off. With brake cleaner. Qtip.

FYI remember which way the rubber boot sits.
Each end is different. There are 3 notches on the rubber boots.

Lub inside - get the proper silicone or you will be taking everything apart again in smith or so.
