Replacing center speaker eliminates rattle??

My center speaker on my 08 tl-s has a rattle and i already tried the DIY on adding a weatherstip under the speaker where it sits. the thing is the rattle is still there and I took it to the dealership and after a four hour wait they said they are going to replace my center speaker. Do you guys think that wil fix the rattle or am i just getting a new speaker for no reason.

usually its the speaker grill, they need to repalce it and /or add EPT tape to get rid of the rattle.

APPLYING EPT TAPE USUALLY FIXES MOST RATTLES

I just ignore it.. I turn the radio louder.. LOL.. but my 07 TL-S has the same rattle.. not loud, but loud enough to annoy the crap out of you.. I know it's the grill on mine, because if I just touch the grill, it stops. I just haven't had time to go back to the dealer...

foam up the wires and connectors leading to the speaker, theres a connector on that line that causes it.

Mine did the same thing...the dealer just put some foam tape around the bottom edges and popped it back in...so far no rattles!
