Remove/install side view mirror

Remove/install side view mirror
alright, so i clipped a big trashcan that was put in the street on a country road and snapped my passenger side rear view mirror off my '05 TL. I already ordered a new one but was hoping someone may have replaced one of these before but i cant seem to find a post of it anywhere.
So....any guidance or pointers before i attempt this? all i have is the exploded parts view to go off of
Thanks

you can always go to the 3G garage, which is stickied in the 3G TL section.
its labeled as 3G TL SERVICE DEPARTMENT AKA THE GARAGE.

You should post this in the MDX Forum https://acurazine.com/forums/
I would move this for you but then you might never find it since it's a post and there is no notice here that it was moved.

Thanks for the scan of the tech book Justn! I also clipped a garbage can and need to replace the passenger side mirror- this doesn't look too complicated once the interior door trim is off- do you have a scan of that process (page 20-14)?

No worries, already found it- thanks! It looks like I need to remove the door panel:

then the interior sash trim:

I'm also going to use the broken mirror glass (not damaged) to put into my driver's side mirror (mirror holder replacement above) because it has some weird brown discoloration around the edges.

Btw, the brown discoloration is caused by leaving the heating element behind the mirror too long.
