Anyone have this problem? The keyfob trunk release works so I'm thinking it's probably the button in the cabin. I don't have time to look up taking the lower driverside dash apart right now cuz I'm about to drive to Cali for the holidays. Any input is appreciated. I'll research this when I get to California....

 

I'm a new TL owner and initially had the same problem. Then I found the switch in the glove box that is used to disable that button, so that parking valets can't get into your trunk. Once I switched it, then the trunk release button worked.
