hey guys ,

this is the second time ive had to program a remote ... the dealer i bought the car from didnt have the original and paid for me to get a new one ... that one programed very quickly .. this one isnt taking the program , i bought it off of ebay and am wondering if i got the right one?? how do i match serial numbers if i dont have the original ??? the one that was sent to me has a

fcc# E4EG8D-444H-A its also a memory 2 .. that the right one ????

 

I have an 04 as well, on both of my remotes the # on the back is as follows

FCC ID : OUCG8D-387H-A and I got them from 2 different places, one came with car and I got one from ebay

I dont know if this means you have the wrong one tho... maybe

 

You may have the wrong one, I would suggest you return it and get one from a dealership. Tim @ hondaacuraworld.com can get you one at good prices.
