rearview mirror, screwed up

okay so my rearview mirrors work to the right and go down but refuse to go up or left. had a mechanic shop look at it and they said it needs a new switch in the dash so they change it out to a new one today but it still does the same thing. anybody got a clue?

the mechanic shop said they checked the wiring at the switch and it supposedly has power coming out at all the right places. they claim the problem lays somewhere between the switch and the mirrors.

well my windshield washer fluid wasnt working either and kept blowing its 7.5 amp fuses then i read the sticky at the top of this forum about using a 10 amp fuse if that and the mirrors and memory seats didnt work. switched to that and now every thing works perfect! love Acurazine!

This thread is perfect for me, my fuse must have just gone out. Mirrors, seats, and washer fluid motor were all doing the same thing you described. Thanks!
