Hi guys,

I just had my windows tinted this weekend and the guy that did it cut around the 3rd brake light even though i told him not to. is this still fixable? can another piece be cut to cover it or am i screwed?

 

Just tell him to redo it.

 

if he redoes it, does that screw up the antenna and defroster lines?

 

^^It can be removed without messing up the antenna or defroster, if he knows what he is doing.

 

ok good, i'd rather have the whole back covered. it looks weird with that cutout. he f*cked up my rear quarter panels too so he's coming back to do that.

 

pretty easy to remove the old tint, he should just place a tint on top of the old one..lets it sit in the sun for a bit and voila it pulls right off. make sure he knows how to remove the 3rd brake light, if not then just remove it for him..have him install the tint and then reapply the cover.
