Whenever I listen to music that has bass in it (rap, even on a very low volume setting), I now hear a rattle from the back (i did not get this till now, have had the car for a month), I believe it is coming from the subwoofer/deck lid area. I have searched the forums and found many posts, but I was wondering if there was a clear solution to this? I am already taking my 05 TL to the dealership on saturday to get a new window regulator, so I was wondering if this is something I can get them to fix aswell, if so whats the best way to explain it/deal with the dealership so I dont get them to do a crappy fix that lasts all of 5 minutes?

I have same problem. I put my hand on top of subwoofer grill and it goes away. I will get this fixed on my first oil change.

 

So I was messing around some more with the rear area, with different types of music, I believe it is mainly coming from the break lamp up top, however to stop the rattle from that I really have to apply great pressure to the break light up there. Is this still something the dealership will be able to fix? I dunno if foam will do it either, because it seems like the rubber lining/seal part that is around the light vibrates against the window creating the most rattle, but there is a little bit of rattle coming from the actual light i believe.
