Rear Passenger squeaking noise (sounds like a little bird!)

Haha, Well I'll try to describe the noise to the best of my ability.

symptoms:
Whenever I go over a bump or dip or I think allow the suspension of the Rear Passenger side to "move," a low squeaking sound that sounds like a little bird appears. No clunking, thumping. Just a little baby bird chirping sound. I know its coming form the outside and not the interior because I can hear it echo in my parking garage.

question:
Are there any joints on the rear suspension or maybe even the rear sway bar that I sounds like that could be causing this? How would I go about lubing these part(s) or would it just mean replacing altogether?

Thanks!

What happens when you go back there and put your weight on it to move it up and down? Does it make the noise then?

How many miles?

It could be a strut. They get noisy as they wear out.

1) Loose intermediate shaft heat shield (TSB on this-- usually occurs at low RPM)
2) Rear anti-sway bar bushing

Those are my best guesses.

Welcome to AZ, BTW.

Hey Les! Cisco here.

Funny noticing you here. I don't have a TL yet, but looking into getting one by end of this year.

Your problem sounds like a blown shock. Was this vehicle previously lowered on these same shocks? Maybe that one is blown. Do the bounce test on that corner to find out. If not, I would inspect rear endlinks, as someone mentioned.
