Rear Driver side door lock noise?

The rear driver side door is making a weird squeaking/whining noise when I lock the doors.

It started happening after I tried unlocking my door with my remote but my remote wasn't responding.

Then after I unlocked the doors with my key the remote lock/unlock starts working again but the rear driver door is making a weird noise when I lock it but it doesn't make the sound when I unlock my doors.

could it be the actuator going bad?

I'll have to look up the part # as I can't recall it off the top of my head, but just remember that the rear actuator is a different part than the one for the front. The rear one costs about $80-110, while the front one is $20-30 (depending on whether you buy at the dealer or online). Mild PITA to replace, but the necessary instructions can be found with a search on this forum.

That's the part number for the driver's side rear actuator assembly.

The part number you listed is for the passenger rear door actuator assembly, I believe. Note that there are different part numbers for driver's side vs passenger's side (on top of being different front to rear).

what's the likely hood of all four doors making that noise together all of a sudden?

It was -50 here couple days ago and the battery died, I charged the battery and the door stopped making the noise…

I guess it was making the noise because the battery was low, well see how it goes in a couple days.

It's just weird because this never happened before and it only happens to one of the doors.

problem came back it… it's making that stupid annoying noise again.

I'm going to order the driver rear actuator part #: 72655-SEA-G01 and see how it goes.

I've noticed my car does this sometimes too, and it goes away and comes back sometimes. I wouldn't worry about it, mine has yet to break.
