Rear Doors
Maybe you need to lube the hinges? Take some silicone spray and get all pieces that move in and out of the door. This hasnt happened on my 3rd gen yet but it did happen on my brothers 2nd gen.
Same thing here on my 05 since day one. Lubing the hinges doesn't change anything. As far as I can tell it is the "door checker" That's piece that slides in and out when you open and close the door. The part that limits how far open you can get the door. It is between the top and bottom hinge. I just haven't looked into it since I rarely open the rear doors.

It is the door check that makes the noise. I have a tube of Door-Ease, which is about the size of a roll of quarters and has a stick of wax-like stuff in it. Rub it on the door check and the dry sound is gone.
I've had it a long time so it may not be available anymore, but your auto parts store should have something similar.
