Rear caliper question

i have a 2005 tl that i just changed rear rotors and pads on b/c the rear drivers side caliper froze up. I replaced the drivers side caliper, but when i was taking apart the passenger side one i found that the boot on one of the guide pins was cracke and water had gotten in and rusted it solid. i was able to break it free and clean it up. i was wondering if i could take the monting braket part of the caliper( the side without the piston in it) from the drivers side caliper that i replaced. those boots were good and the pins move freely. i know there are 2 different pins and was wondering if that part could be switched or if i had to get a new one for that too.
