I'm having the same problem on my 2004 Silver TL seem like the right rear side where it connect to the sheet metal is popping out.
I saw somewhere on one of the treads of someone using a strong 3M double side tape to fix the problem. Can't seem to find the post anymore.
I personally would rather try and fix it myself than take it to the dealer.

My mother in law had the same problem on her 2001. They had to remove her bumper and 're-seat' it for it to not pop out anymore.
