I was wondering if anyone experienced a rattling noise from center console on the 3rd gen TLs. The noise is almost like a ticking noise, kinda like rock chips hitting the outside car, cept this is for my center console.

 

Yes, I have it and fixed it. The center compartment (2 flippy compartment) rubs against the radio. Just stick some foam in there and it will go away.

Can you give us more detail on this fix? Did you have to take anything apart, where exactly did you place the tape, etc.?
