Guys,

Long time no talk. I have been without a computer for a while, brutal. Anyways, I have a 2006 TL and I am hearing this rattle from what I believe is coming from the front door or left air vent. When I get up to speeds around 75 - 80 I hear it, especially on the freeway. Has anyone experieced this before. I am losing it. Please help.

If it is happening at higher speeds only the rattle could be coming from lower left side of the instrument panel that faces the drivers door. It sometimes tends to be a little flappy thus creating a buzzing type sound. Try holding a small towel against the left side of the panel and then close the door shut so that the towel is now wedged between the door and the panel. Go out for a ride and see if the rattle is gone.

 

Not sure, but if you take it in your local Acura dealer will look into fixing it. I just took mine in this morning for a driver door/window rattle and rear deck rattle. They fixed both items.
