Random Clink!

hey guys! so ive had this problem for awhile...but just cant figure it out. I doesnt happen everytime...but on occasion when i hit a little rut in the road i get a "clink" from my front end. My only ideas could be that i have some linkage issues or some ppl have told me ball joint...but i only have 90 km's on the car. If any1 has some past experiences with a similar issue please chime in...thanx in advance!

There is a list of things it could be man.. What if you jack the front tires up, and maybe jiggle the tires as much as you can; to see if it's in the steering?

yeah the search function is great! but that post doesnt really have anything to do with my issue...if you took the time to read the post it said the "clink" on happened when i hit little rut's in the road...nothin when im accelerating. i am a 6MT if that makes any difference.

sway bar end links?

get it in the air and ck all the suspension and steering parts
Ball joints and control arm bushings are a common wearout failure
especially if its lowered~

Could the front brake pad retaining pins be the cause? These are the pins that you have to remove with a drift punch to change out the front pads. I hear a very distinct click when backing up and this is due to these pins hitting the caliper body. Very annoying to say the least.

Not surprising coming from a guy with a low post count.

To the OP, yes, search. There are tons of threads on this issue. Everything from swaybar end links to swaybar bushings to shocks to balljoints to compliance bushings to the steering rack, etc. I would read some past threads and find which one best describes your issues. Then we can narrow it down some more.
