Occasionally mid drive my radio will just shut off on it's own. Sometime's it's just the CD player so the FM still works. Sometimes it just goes off completely and by that I mean audio and the display.

Monday when I started my car I tried to switch to CD and it just wasn't even there as an option. But the radio hasn't died since...

Ideas? Aside from needing my 105k service there is nothing wrong with my car that I know of other than this.

 

have you checked the fuse, connection or possible the radio might goes bad?

 

Have you modified your audio system at all? I have those issues with the grom audio module. It happens maybe once every 2-3 weeks but i know its the module because a lot of other people complain about the same thing

 

Nope. I installed an iSimple years ago that never worked so I removed it immediately. Otherwise, stock audio setup entirely.

I pulled the interior apart last night and all the connections on the back are good.

I'll check fuses. That wouldn't make much sense to me if it comes back after sitting off for a while though.
