i was racing my friend wich has a 05 tl with 20s and i have a 08 with 20s and i was doing about 120 and my car just started skipping like as if i had to change the gear and the vsa and check engine light came on so i stoped and took off again and they rpms were stuck in 4 5 thousand rpms skipping.. anyone know what that could been?

You put inferior octane gas in the car. The computer analyzed the gas, and most likely caused you to misfire. The only way to help it and fix it is to drive off the gas you have now as soon as possible, put some fuel treatment in your car, and pump in a good batch of gas!
