You should start and let the engine run for a few minutes at least once every 2 weeks.

also disconnect the batter btwn periods of starting the car, you will b very greatful in the long run cause it will save u the time and hassle of either jumping the car or eventually buying a new battery for a car that u cant drive

You need to put a can of Seafoam in the gas tank and fill it up. Get a battery tender to hook up the battery. Do not start your car during the storage period. You should only start it if you are going to drive it. Many boats and motorcycles are stored each year and no manufacturer suggests that they should be started while in storage. They just need to be properly prepped.

get a battery tender, hook it up to that so your batter will stay fresh...fill up the fuel tank and add STABIL, and your done....i might, and i say might, show up and fire the car up every month or soo, but this step is completely useless other than to here the car run and what not...

i hope you learned your lesson...i lost my license when i was 17...be prepared for much higher insurance rates, and slow down!!
