PSA for headlight ballast replacement.

2010 Mazda CX-9 ballasts work for 3rd gen TL.
So recently my driver side headlight stopped working. I replaced both HID bulbs and still had the problem.

A friend of mine gave me both of the ballasts he had from his 2010 Mazda CX-9., since he had just replaced his with LED headlights.

The ballasts are a direct/exact fit and work 100% with our lights. Hope this info helps anyone stuck in a pinch

What year and model though? The ballast differed over the generation

I just called him to ask and he laughed and said the ballasts were actually from a 2010 Mazda CX-9.

So what year TL is this compatible with? They are not the same across all years of the 3G.
