Just bought a 06 TL and I was kinda disappointed with the cut off on these projectors. I have another TSX in the family and those projectors have nicer and sharper cut off than my TL.

From what I saw on the other thread, there was this guy who wanted to buy TL projectors for his project and he showed pictures of the cut off and they're so sharp compared to my TL projectors. He's using TL projectors as well.

I wish my TL projectors have sharper cut off....Can someone post some cut off pictures of their TL??? I wanna compare.....

From what I have heard, starting in 2006, all projector headlights in the US started making the projector lens have lined steps in the glass. I think it is called fresnel lens. I heard it is because the smooth glass lens had such a sharp cut off of the projected light that it caused bad blinding to other drivers when people hit bumps and it caused eye fatigue to the drivers of cars who had smooth glass lenses.
I took a look at my 2004 BMW and it has the smooth glass and a very sharp cut off and my 2006 TL had the fresnel lens and a softer cut off.
