Over the past few days I have noticed something strange with my heat. I have the heat mode set on my feet at about 75 degrees with the AC off but I still feel a somewhat stiff flow of cool air coming out of the driver side vent near the window. What I am wondering is why am I feeling any air coming out that paticular vent if I have the flow of air set to me feet. Also if the the temperature outside is around 50 and the temperature inside the car is less than 75 (I am guessing it is) why do I feel cold air out of that vent and not warm air.

Can someone try this out and tell me if they have the same occurence?

is your air-circulation button pushed? make sure it's pused and check if the orange light's on

 

So if you do not have the air circulation button pushed than you always have air flow through the vents? This is still the case even if you have the heat turned on? This seems strange to me.

 

engaging / disengaging the air circulation traps or allows air flow. if you turn it off, hot air produced from your engine will penetrate through the vent 'cause it's opened........ and eventually you'll feel hot. by engaing the button, it will close the vents.....no more infilltration. if you still don't understand what i'm saying......just do it lol it will work
