Long story short, I have some curb rash on my rims.

Now it may not look that bad, but for some reason anytime im driving around 25mph i hear a weird noise coming from my rim as if it is grinding on something. What should/can i do?

I think my rim is slightly bent. Pics will be up tomorrow

 

Check the brake pads for wear. If aftermarket wheels, while the car is in the air check to be certain it's not contacting the caliper when turning.

 

I agree with turbonut, I had the same noise on mine and it ended up being the brakes.

 

i also had a problem of this sort. didnt have the rash but had the weird noise. it was my caliper..

 

should I just take it in the shop? how much would it cost and is it hard to fix that?

I also noticed a drop in MPG the lowest being 16 and avg 18 now. Which is ridiculous cause a little while ago I tried seeing what the worst mpg i could achieve in one gas tank and...i got about 17-18

so 16 kinda worries me

maybe a faulty wheel bearing
