Driver's side mirror moves by itself on start up.
Not always..just often enough to be annoying.
This is not the tipping that happens when backing.
Is there a fix or has there been a recall??

Hi AZ: I have just experienced a similar problem and wanted to see if there has been similar experiences.

Both of my side mirrors have been adjusting on its own (not the tilt down) but the actual mirror. This actual happened during driving today. It seems like all of a sudden a new memory setting was activated (generally both mirrors angle downward). The seat settings are unaffected. Any thoughts or similar experiences? Thanks.

 

Do you save the settings by hitting Memo and either then 1 or 2 buttons? Also using the respective key fob?

 

Yes. I set it to 1 and use the same key fob ever since I had the car.

Everything else that I have experienced has been detailed ad nauseum here except for this.

The mirror (not entire assembly) occasionally, but enough to piss me off, adjusts on its own. I am not sure whether it happens as I unlock the doors. But I usually notice it when I start driving and look at the mirrors so I think it's related to the memo settings.

I have been using the same key fob and am the only driver so I have all my setting as memo 1. I have noticed that when the mirrors get readjusted that the memo 1 light is not lit up. Also when I push the button to go to the memo 1 driver settings the light is back on but the mirrors do not go back to what I set them to.

I would like for this to go away as it is a safety issue. I can live with the creaks and rattles and cosmetic issues.
