Power steering whine (searched)

Power steering whine (searched)
So i had the typical power steering whine in the mornings when i first started the car, i ordered the o ring and also one of the small hoses that was leaking at bit (my fluid was only slightly low). Yesterday i replaced the o-ring, replaced the hose and drained and filled the fluid with new Honda fluid. Why do i still have the whine in the mornings?! I hate this sound all though its not as loud now but its still there.

Since it was leaking already then you opened it to change the o-ring & hose there'd be some air in it. Did you bleed the air out? I'd start with that.

But looks like bleeding it just requires moving the steering wheel and checking it from what i saw in the video so im just going to do that then check back in to see if thats the issue, i hope i dont need a PS pump.

Ok well i just bled the system out myself since its so easy but when i get out of the car and open the reservoir there is a lot of tiny air bubbles then they slowly dissipate is this how its supposed to be? Currently the car has no noise but then again it is warm so i dont expect the noise until the engine is cold anyway.

You can rebuild the pump for a fraction of the cost.
New pump is about $230 from delray acura (online) or you could buy all of the O-rings and seals for maybe $8 and replace them if it is the pump.
There's a DIY here:

It's a pretty easy job, hardest part is removing and re-installing the pulley which isn't difficult at all with the right tools.
You could also take a look at your power steering rack (near the firewall on the driver's side in the engine bay) and see if it's leaking. Might not be the pump, but if I had to choose between the two the pump is definitely an easier job. Easy to get a look at it while you're doing an oil change with the car on a lift. When they leak they the boots near the tie-rod ends tend to fill with the fluid.
Rack requires the sub-frame to be dropped to get it out and gets real expensive to have a shop do it.

Wow this PS sound has really been very noticeable now even when the car is warm (although much louder when cold) i had no idea it could get this loud. Ordered my PS pump O-rings and seals yesterday and they got shipped today. Im crossing my fingers and PRAYING that this fixes my problem because the noise is just down right embarrasing now.
