Power Steering Hose

Hi all,

My power steering hose is slightly leaking ps fluid. Can someone give me a rough estimate on what this hose usually cost to fix, and how important is it to actually fix it (could it wait a month or so)

Thanks.

Did your car go through the recall fixes for the power steering hose and wiper motor (see @ middle of the page: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=553557)?

If not, the leaking hose repair is free under the recall.
If the recall was done, it was probably incorrectly done (like tech used the old hose inlet O-ring instead of the orange one that came with the recall fix kit) and should be redone by the dealership.

Oh, and the power steering fluid is flammable-- a few engines have caught fire from the leaking fluid-- so you want the fix ASAP with a leak.
G/L.
