POLL: Dash Cracking

Just trying to get a count of people that have problems with their dashboard cracking.

I haven't seen one, so mods, if a poll like this has already been done, feel free to close.

If you're not sure what I'm talking about, here's a couple of threads with several people reporting the problem, with pics:

2004 no-navi. I had the dash replaced about a year ago, paid $550 out of pocket. Acura covered the rest.

i voted no. I wonder if its the cold temps or the hot temps that makes it worse? Such as, where do these people live?

based on what ive read over time it seems like the tls in southern states have a higher rate of cracking compared to the northern states. so im assuming that it has something to do with the extreme heat in some of the southern states

probably that and no windshield sun deflector and no lubrication. Fortunately my car was from NY. And ever since then I have put oils on it. But not too much oil. And I do see the outline of the airbag on one side of the passenger airbag... So i'm hoping i'm safe. Doesnt that suck though about Acura? I've been hard on GM over the pass few years, but GM dashes dont crack within 5 years and even a few more. Particularly on the 35-40k automobiles. But I think cracking the sunroof during the summer helps to keep the heat down in the car. And I think that helps a lot.
