Please help! Timing Belt question, timing off rear cam!
Okay, so I had all my timing marks perfect, I was in the process of putting the timing belt back on, I started at the rear cam to the front, then to then crank. The belt was pretty firm, and I couldn't get it over the crank cam.
As I was trying to, we decided to put it on the crank cam first, then the upper cams, well, as we are trying to get the belt around the rear cam, the ream cam moved and the tick mark on the cam moved! And when I tried to stick a 17mm on that cam bolt, when I turn it, it just comes back.
Please, how do I get the rear cam to line up with the arrow on the engine?

First of all, there is a specific order for replacing the TB. Did you read the TB DIY? The rear sprocket has a tendency to rotate roughly 1/8 turn either way. There is a "sweet" spot to get it to stand still with the timing marks lined up. Just play with it and you should be able to get it.

Make sure you install in the right order, check out the DIY like nfn said.
If you're having trouble moving the rear cam pulley after it moved you can try turning the pulley by hand with the belt off (difficult if spark plugs are still in) or just put a ratchet on the cam pulley bolt for the rear one while the belt is off and turn it a little to line it back up should be pretty easy and the bolt shouldn't budge.

Also, I'm trying to move the rear cam to get it lined up right now. It seems the front cam doesn't do this, but the rear one is, every time I turn it with the ratchet on the rear cam bolt, every time I let go of the ratchet, the rear cam spins back to where it is was? Why is that? It'll turn with the ratchet, but as soon as I let go it spins back to where it was.
Why???

Okay, never mind, I think I have it now. I think I know what nfn meant by "sweet spot". That's a little scary, you gotta rotate just right or that cam flips shit, ha.

It's because the rear cam is opening a valve, the valve spring pressure is pushing back on that cam lobe, I usually have to hold that cam gear with a box end wrench while I'm working the belt around everything.
