PLEASE HELP!! Squeeky noise front driverside tire

I have an 06 TL 6sp manual. I am new to this site and not sure how to find advanced spefic searches yet so I decided to make a new thread. I have been having a loud squeeky noise coming from my front driver side wheel when I am driving. It happens the entire time I drive whether on a smooth road or bumpy road it does seem to stop when applying brakes. I have recently replaced my front brake pads and also installed a new stabilizer link on the front driver side. I need help with ideas to help me diagnose the problem. Any help at all is much appreciated!

Also I will add that the brake pads that I have used are a semi metallic( ordered from advance auto and was an idiot and didn't pay attention, I am replacing them with akebono ceramic brake pads.) when I installed the brake pads I discovered the broken stabilizer link, I do not know how long it was broken for.

Since it stops when you brake, my first guess is something in the caliper isn't moving freely and is causing your brake pad to drag. Take the pads off and make sure all the slides and everything else move freely, and throw some high temp grease in there.

Sorry for the late response I thought I actually responded to this but it's not showing up😕 here's an update, I checked my rear brakes the other day and the pads were in need of being replaced. While I had the one wheel off I checked the caliper and the piston and slides and they were all moving fine everything seemed good. Today I went to replace the rear brake pads and started on the opposite tire from the one I checked the other day. Could not get the piston back in at all and the rubber boot has been getting stuck. The piston was all rusted and not in good condition at all so I also replaced that one( right rear, changed that and the 2 sets of brake pads. The car does not anymore make that loud squeezing noise!!! But now I have a leak somewhere my brakes pedal is very soft h

Did you bleed the brakes after replacing the caliper? Maybe it's airbound somewhere

You're welcome. And I agree with st_dot, you need to bleed your brakes after installing the new caliper.

the housing which the brake line bolt goes into was stripped and was pouring out brake fluid. Replaced that the next day and bled the brakes and now i I am driving with no annoying sounds and good working brakes and finally relieved. Thank you for all the help and suggestions
