Please help a new member with headlight problem...

Hey everyone,

I am in need of some assistance and help. I have a base model 04 TL. The headlight of the TL consists of 3 lights, the yellow signal light, the headlight (which has the high beam capability) and the ugly yellow emitting light next to it (the most inner light closest to the grill, which i ll call FOG light)..

My problem:
In order for me to turn on the FOG lights i need to have the headlight and amber lights on as well.
Without turning on the amber light and the headlight i cant turn on the FOG lights by themselves..

Please help me on how to resolve this matter, I dont know why its doing that..
also i would love to get rid of that ugly yellow light that the FOG light emits and make it look like the white headlight. Any guidance is appreciated greatly..

Thanks in advance..

You can do an independent switch or use the stock switch. Either way you have to run your own circuit. This is how you use the stock switch:

you can buy an hid hit for the fog light place to spice up the look, i have an 2005 with 8000k for the fog. HIDExtra.com is a good place put the code acurasp-w for 05 off so the hid kit will only cost ya $60.00.

I really want to be able to use the OEM switch to turn the lights on independent of the parking lights or the headlights..
