Unhappy Please help me... Hurry!!!!!!!!!

Okay guys... I know people have had this issue before...

Sat night 140am my alarm started going off. I went outside and found no one and realized it said the door was open. It wasn't. I can't lock the car now bc the alarm will go off if I do... So then today, on my way home from work... The seatbelt alarm starting sounding and I was wearing it.

I've seen similar posts to this... Same seatbelt warning... SAME BACK PASSANGER DOOR ALARM... but I never found resolution.

PLEASE HELP ME... I have to go to work tomorrow.

If it thinks I'm not wearing my seatbelt... and I am...
If it thinks the back door is open and it isn't...

What's to say it's not going to think I was in a car accident and deploy the airbag when I'm just rolling down the highway to work?

I HATE ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS.

Aftermarket or stock alarm? What is the voltage on the battery when it acts all haywire?

Bad battery?

It's the factory alarm. Today, I disconnected the battery, left it sit while I checked all of the appropriate fuses... 5, 6, 7... Even 32...

Then I checked the door plunger switch and it seemed fine.

I reconnected the battery and it ran fine all day. No false alarms. I took it to auto zone where i got the battery like 3 months ago... They also thought it could POSSIBLY be a faulty battery even tho it's reading 100%... according to the load test.

I'm nervous tho... It's seemed fine before then all of a sudden it thinks the back door is open and the alarm detonates like a bomb.

I'm so nervous that it is the MICU.

I seriously cannot even imagine what is going on.

I'm not sure how Acuras / Hondas are made, but on BMWs, if the battery starts to die, the car starts to do all sorts of funky things. A low battery will trigger the wiper blades to wipe continuously and the lights will start flickering. Electrical issues are very strange.

Sounds like tha battery fixed it... for now. When my battery was going it would randomly lock and unlock and then while driving the gauge cluster would lose power and what not. One day it would just not start, replaced the battery under warrenty and boom never have had an issue yet... Knock on wood!

Thanks Guys...

The battery is only a few months old and they said the charge is 100% when they load tested it... I tried to explain that I didn't think that mattered since it COULD BE just a "faulty" battery that's making it do odd things.

I'm just nervous to lock the car because I'm afraid the alarm will go off, randomly.

I appreciate the feedback. It was just really odd.

Nice work on the tl, Comptech... looks great.

If it happens again, then remove and test the sensor. If unsure, then replace it.

On my Ford, I have to spray silicone lubricant into the switches every so often or they stick too.

Which Sensor? And BTW!!!!!

The door switch or the sensor for the alarm?

I am struggling with the fact that if it IS the door sensor/switch, why would it tell me that I didn't have my seatbelt on????

Just as a sidenote... Since my last battery died, My radio code does not work. I called acura and they checked the code off of my VIN and said it was correct. I said... It isn't working. Then the guy on the phone asked me if I was putting in the code correctly... I laughed and said "IT'S ONLY 5 NUMBERS! Kinda hard to F that up".

The reason I'm telling you guys this is:

With no radio... and the seateblt alarm going off... (we all know how loud that thing is when it rings 6 times) followed by the "Door Open" alarm immediately after the seatbelt alarm...

I have JUST enough time to say the words "F*** MY LIFE" in between each noise.

I'm at the end of my rope here... Almost literally.
