Please help!

Please help I have a 2006 tl and I was having problems with the battery dying so I read on here about disconnecting the hfl(hands free link). So I cut the wire to the hands free link and now my keyless entry wont work. Why did it kill my keyless entry?

Cutting wires is a bad idea.

You should be pulling fuses.

Are you sure you cut the right wire?

There are 4 wires. 1 to the rearview, 1 to the map lights, 1 to the sunroof, and the one I cut to the hfl

Reconnect it and see if it corrects the second issue.
