I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem...

Piston 2 is sending off a check engine light reading that it is mis-firing...

I reset the light, start the car under cold conditions and it does not come back on. Each time with the AC turned off...

The last two days it has been hot and I have left the AC on and when I start the car, the check engine light is on.

Any suggestions? I swapped the coil from piston 1 to 2 and it still reads piston 2 is bad. Spark Plug the issue?

 

Check the plugs and replace if they look bad. How many miles do you have on your TL? Also have you been using premium fuel?

 

there is a bulletin 03-033 that could possibly be it


But maybe plugs with high miles

Or could need valve adjustment, can tell by freeze data, map sensor reading will be high
