Perplexed by loss of tire pressure

About month or so ago, my rear right tire (stock Michelins) started to lose pressure. I discovered a screw/nail in it, so I got that patched up.

Now, the tires were rotated as part of my check into the alignment.

Fast forward to this past week, I noticed that my rear right tire is low again. None of the other three tires even seem "visually" as low as the rear right.

I ran an inspection of the tire and couldn't really find any punctures. That being said, I'm quite perplexed by the sheer coincidence of the rear right tire being low once again. The first time was obviously due to a screw, but this time?

Has anyone experienced anything like this where always the same tire will end up with lower pressure than the others?

Any ideas on what I should do?

(Mods, I put this in Problems & Fixes because its not a post about a specific tire or its performance, but rather a problem and the solicitation of a possible fix)

Nail in tire, then rotate and now tire in same position is losing air too? I think someone is messing with your car. Either jealous coworkers or neighbors.

I recently had something similiar to this. I brought my car in twice because it kept pulling to the left. The first time the dealer said that my tire pressure was 15psi so they put air into it. The second time I brought it in they said there was a nail in the tire. They patched it up, but I noticed that the car was still pulling to the left. I checked the pressure yesterday and once again the pressure was low (20 psi). I put air in it, but I'm not expecting it to hold.

I have decided to order four new tires as I want to upgrade the tires anyway. If it starts happening with the new tires then there is something wrong with the car.

Use soapy water all around the tire to find leaks. Also check the valve stem because they are known to leak.

It wouldn't mean there's something wrong with the car - if anything, your wheel is the problem.

As it turns out, this is what happened:

1. Los Gatos Acura was supposed to rotate my wheels... Turns out they never did, because I did have a nail in the rear right which was removed and then the tire patched (patched by my personal mechanic).

2. Today, I took it into the same mechanic and he found that the tires were never rotated because the patched tire was still the rear right. Turns out the patch was leaky because of the lack of glue-i-ness in the material (which he had me feel after he removed it, and it sure wasn't sticky). He patched it up with a new one (much, much stickier and fills in better... wasn't really his fault the first time because he didn't know how well it'd perform as a new batch).

Thus, I'm not really angry, but a bit disturbed rather that an Acura dealership would claim to do something when they really didn't. This was warranty work too. I would suggest as a lesson to everyone else to be careful with what a dealership claims as "performed"... Especially if it comes out of your own pocket!
