Passenger side mirror actuator
So the left rear view mirror is going crazy, it keeps missing its original position significantly each time i get in the car. And often keeps trying to adjust it self for a few minutes.
I've tried the greasing before but i think that its more than that now.
So I decided to change the actuator but everywhere i look it seems like its discontinued?

Any ideas?
Thanks,
MM

Nothing yet unfortunate as i cant find the actuator anywhere.
Online its quite expensive so i'm going to try to dismount it and clean it up as much as possible and report back.
Btw it looks like this is the right PN

I'm having the same issue with my passenger side mirror. Upon startup, it stammers, stutters and appears to get stuck. In the thread you linked, Beartech had some insights on disassembling and lubing the components. That sounds interesting and I think I will try that. He also mentioned posting a video on YouTube showing how he did it. I've not been able to find his video yet, though. The video would be useful.

Under $50 on Amazon is too expensive? I see no issue with taking it apart, cleaning, and lubing at least once if it hasn't been done before. For me, the amount of labor involved was not worth doing it a 2nd time. For $100 and 15 minutes of labor, you get back fully functional mirrors again.

Here is a link for re-lubing that works in the garage: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-p...-045-a-832020/

So I decided to overhaul the actuator as a last resort. Opened it up, cleaned it and re-greased it. Long story short, dont do it! lol
When i go in reverse the mirror now tilts inwards... and i also lost my seat memory functions.
I'll go an buy a new one soon! Here's some pics for the adventurous!
