Yesterday, my friend was getting into the car and as soon as he pulled the exterior door handle (on the passenger side), the clip that goes next to the handle just came off

anyone else experience this problem and if so, do you know whether the dealership would be able to cover this under warranty? i tried to put the clip back on there but a part of it is just broken so it doesn't stay on there tight...

it's really annoying as to how many minor problems i've had with the TL...it's frustating dammit!!!

I've heard of some front clips coming off, but not the rear one, but it's the same thing. You are talking about the colored piece that covers the end of the handle assembly right? It just clips on and sometimes the little clip breaks off.

Unless it was done on purpose, which it wasn't, warranty will cover it, but the dealer will probably have to order it.

I just bought the cover from my dealership and cost about 10 bucks. im puting it on the front driver door to conceal the key hole
