Hey guys,

Just wondering what spray paint I should use to paint my exhaust tips black again.

I removed the black paint inside the exhaust tips last year but I didn't know they were supposed to be black.

It looks clean as hell, but looking at TLs with the black still on the tips makes me want to go back =(

Any recommendations for with paint I should go with?

High temp flat black, even flat black barbecue grill paint will do.

How did you get the black off originally?

 

i suspect lots of scrubbing involved.

 

another member did that to some TL-S tips as well with steel wool.


Any high temp black paint will work well. Just make sure the tips are clean before painting and as well that you tape off everything you don't want painted very well!
