Paint Cracking on Hood

Hello;

I have 2004 Acura TL Black, and the paint is cracking really bad on the hood, and on the sides as well. Does anyone know what I can to do repair the cracks in the paint. I am located in the So Cal area. I was thinking of getting some quotes from auto body shops. Any recommendations would be helpful.

Thanks

I got a 06 NBP and just noticed oxidation on my right side above my passenger door, and clearcoat coming off the bumper. Go to Acura dealership, or a body shop and they will check the mil on it. Maybe it was painted over, and if it is not, Honda/Acura paint sucks anyways.

I have a 2004 Anthrechite TL and am having the same problem. I baught it with 60K miles and is believed to be original paint. I started noticing early thi ssummer and it has gotten worse. There are small cracks in the paint on basically the entire hood and front sections of the fenders. Took it to the Acura dealer a few weeks ago and waiting for a call from the Acura warranty rep to see if there's anything that they can do, not getting my hopes up.
