Do you guys think the pens and stuff from paintscratch.com would work on this?

Hey

I am curious to see everyone's suggestions because I have the same problem as well. I also have some light scratches on the side of the bumper, and was trying to figure out what would be the most cost effective solution. I live in Brooklyn, New York and if anyone can come up with some good ideas...that would be greatly appreciated.

As of right now, I think I'm going to buy paint pens or something from paintscratch.com and see how that works.

I used the regular Acura touchup pen and it worked great!

Man, I used the Acura touch-up bottle with the finger nail polish-type applicator and it sucked on the WDP. It's too runny and doesn't level out well enough to add a couple coats.

Is the pen from Acura a different applicator?

Do you guys recommend the spray cans from paintscratch.com? I was thinking of getting this and spraying over the spots on the front bumper?

Also, I have some little scuffs on my rear a-spec lip, kinda like bumps. Can I compound over this and spray it over or how can I get it fixed?

Please help.

I will take pictures of the rear a-spec lip tomorrow and post them.

If I was you, I would head over to the wash/wax section. Def, avoid the spray stuff, as it will look blotchy and I think the pen thing is going to work best. fill it in in stages, then after you have added more than needed, wet sand, then compound, polish, wax.... and you good to go

Hey,

I too have experienced a similar condition. I know why it happens as i saw it happening. Never tailgate an 18 wheeler or any pickup trucks which are loaded with dirt or loose items. Things may fall all over the bumper causing scratches and paint chips... The next time you see an open 18 wheeler dont hover behind him...either pass or lose him.
