I've had a paint chip on the side of the car since i could remember. The car was bought in december 05 and i noticed the chip by 06 jan. Didn't bother me till now since i've started to work on the appearance of my car. Anyone think dealer will cover the chip? It on the driver side front fender. its really small and almost un-noticeable. just wanted to get peoples opinions on how to fix it.

 

Since you did not bring it to the dealership immediately when you bought the car, I doubt they will repair the paint chip for free.

The dealer will giggle if you ask.

This is a great DIY and the guy who did it has some skill. I have a couple of show finish cars and I've never found a good detailer that can fill and sand. The new airbrush techniques are ok but you still have a relief where the pit or scratch is.

This technique is the one to use but takes some time.
