p2631 warranty work?

my 05 tl has 47,xxx miles, i am throwing the above code, o2 bank 2 sensor 1, is this an item that is covered under warranty? i think 47,xxx miles is a tad early for an o2 sensor to be going bad especially an acura, maybe a ford, lol

i have an appt wednesday for acura to look at my car. the thing is, i had a buddy hook up his scangauge and read the code, afterwards he cleared the code. will acura tell me there isnt a problem or will they actually run 'real time' tests to see if the code i give them is valid?

Which dealership are you taking it to in Charlotte? Hendrick? I haven't had to service my car yet but I'm curious as to how good the dealerships are here. I've had some great experiences so far with an independent mechanic off South Blvd and I was just going to keep taking it there unless someone says otherwise.

Yes, i am taking it to Hendrick, i am also having my power steering hose replaced, thanks to the TSB. Ive had warranty work performed before at Hendrick (replaced front brake pads and re-surfaced rotors), didnt give me a hard time, i suspect the same this go 'round. ill keep you updated.
